Bar Supervisor- Lake Joseph Club ( The Water's Edge)

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Bar Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, leads by example, and ensures exceptional customer service while maintaining smooth day-to-day bar operations. The Bar Supervisor is a key role to ensure consistency and efficiency. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Ensure all Bartenders are following protocol.
• Ensure Bar area is well maintained and kept up to standards.
• Provide assistance to servers in the restaurant and/or patio with table service to guests.
• Assist with set up and tear down of banquet functions.
• Provide guests with beverage selections, both alcoholic and non alcoholic.
• Prepare beverages in accordance with provincial liquor laws and resorts standards.
• Maintain inventory of beers, wines and spirits.
• Set up and dismantling of bars - both service and public.
• Upsell products to guests.
• Responsible for personal shift accounting procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED: 

• Excellent Interpersonal Skills
• Minimum of 2 years bartending experience
• 2 years in a supervisory/leadership role
• Ability to work well under pressure and independently
• A self-starter and team player
• Smart Serve certification required
• Extensive knowledge of beers, wines, spirits and specialty drinks
• Able to work in high demand situations
• Able to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

This is a seasonal position beginning May until Labour Day Weekend.
