Health and Safety Coordinator 

Are you excited about creating a safe and healthy work environment? We’re looking for a Health and Safety Coordinator to join our HR team and help keep our employees safe and our operations compliant. In this role, you will help develop and implement safety procedures and health programs that support our commitment to workplace safety. Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • Review and consult on workplace injuries and incidents.
  • WSIB/CNESST claim management. 
  • Coordinate health and safety activities and ensure regulatory compliance. 
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs to meet health and safety regulations. 
  • Assist with auditing processes and implement effective health and safety solutions. 
  • Travel to ClubLink properties for periodic audits and training to enforce health and safety regulations. 
  • Prepare and maintain periodic health and safety reports and statistics. 
  • Participate in Joint Health and Safety Committee meetings to identify hazards, conduct inspections, and provide recommendations. 
  • Communicate with external health and safety providers regarding training services, equipment, and PPE. 
  • Coordinate and monitor employee training, including workshops and online courses, to ensure compliance. 

Perform other related duties as required. 

Qualifications: 

  • University/College degree in related field is considered an asset.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and self-management skills. 
  • The ability to effectively manage multiple tasks. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written, oral). 
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 
  • 1-2 years of previous related experience. 
  • Knowledge of WSIB is an asset.
