Line Cook 

Some weekends and holidays required.

$15 per hour to start, depending on experience.

A creative, self-motivated, reliable person who has the desire to produce high-quality food in a great atmosphere. Someone who interacts well with members & kitchen staff and at least 1 year country club or restaurant line experience.

Some Responsibilities include:

* Work quickly and independently on the line.

* Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.

* Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables. Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.

* Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.

* Prepare cold foods.

* Operate ovens, stoves, grills, and fryers.

* Set-up and break down work station.

* Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.

Must Pass a Background Check

Physical Factors:

  • Must be able to stand and walk for up to five (5) hours without sitting
  • Clubs operate seven days per week.  May be required to work weekends, holidays and overtime.
  • Be able to bend, stoop, climb, and stand for up to five (5) hours without sitting.
  • Be able to handle, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs of weight occasionally from storage areas to service areas with or without a hand dolly.
