ClubLink Resorts is hiring a Sales Manager!

Reporting to the Director of Rooms & Revenue, the Sales Manager will be accountable for the development, solicitation and negotiation of group business for Rocky Crest Golf Resort, Sherwood Inn and the three Muskoka ClubLink golf courses: Rocky Crest Golf Club, The Lake Joseph Club and Grandview’s O’Meara Course.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

SALES

  • Maintain and develop prioritized customer account and prospecting lists with internal and external market information.
  • Solicits, develops leads, conducts site inspections, quotes and negotiates group bookings within established parameters.
  • Highly focused working towards accomplishing monthly quotas linking sales activities and revenue goals.
  • Maintain rapport and ensure strong relationships are fostered with existing accounts and developed with potential new accounts to ensure maximum repeat usage of resort.
  • Prepares and presents tailored presentations for prospective clients.
  • Entertains existing and potential clients.
  • Attends and participates in related community business associations and trade shows as required.
  • Participates in an annual incentive plan – based on achievement of activities and resort revenue goals.
  • Liaises closely with the General Manager’s.

PLANNING AND ADMINISTRATION

  • Prepares and distributes all correspondence including proposal letters, contracts and solicitation letters.
  • Communicate effectively with all internal colleagues, particularly Conference Services Managers, Reservations Manager and Front Office Managers to ensure delivery of resort’s promised services.
  • Actively participate in prescribed sales training.
  • Perform other tasks and projects as assigned by the Director of Rooms and Revenue.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or Hotel Management degree and/or minimum one year as a Sales Representative and/or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience with HOST Property Management System, Delphi Sales and Catering System considered an asset.
  • Organized and efficient with internal and external communication.
  • Computer literate, including proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel.
  • Owns or has full access to a reliable automobile.
  • Complies with ClubLink and resort policies and procedures.

This is a full-time permanent role. Opportunity to work from Rocky Crest Golf Resort or Sherwood Inn.
