Fine Dining Server - The Water's Edge

The Lake Joseph Club is Hiring!

We are seeking a skilled and polished Fine Dining Server who can deliver impeccable service in a fast-paced, high-end restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of fine dining etiquette, menu offerings, and wine pairings, with the ability to anticipate and meet the needs of our guests.

Responsibilities: 

• Provide quality service of food and beverage to our Members and guests.
• Provide menu recommendations, describe dishes, and answer questions about ingredients and preparation.
• Upsell menu items, including wine and specials, to enhance guest experience.
• Provide banquet-style service when necessary.
• Ensure quality of food product delivery is maintained, as per Management standards.
• Setting and clearing of tables in dining rooms and function rooms.
• Ensuring the dining room is kept in a clean and well-maintained manner.
• Communicate and address guest concerns or issues to appropriate team members
• Responsible for personal shift accounting procedures.

Qualifications: 

• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in fine dining or high-end restaurants.
• Strong knowledge of fine dining etiquette, wine pairings, and menu offerings.
• Sound knowledge of wines and food is a definite asset.
• Previous experience with the Squirrel POS system is an asset.
• Ability to work well under pressure and independently.
• A self-starter and team player.
• Smart Serve certification.
• Legal age to serve alcoholic beverages (age 18).
• Ability to lift 30 lbs.
• Able to work throughout the fall for a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
