ClubLink Corporate Office is hiring a General Accounting Analyst!

SCOPE OF THE POSITION:

  • Support the management team in achieving financial goals through the provision of information, expertise and advice, identification of financial performance issues and recommendations for improvement
  • Provide detailed financial analysis and evaluation to identify issues and other significant financial implications
  • Liaison between the golf club and corporate office

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Recognize and recruit talented individuals that demonstrate the ability to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the accounting department
  • Provide coaching, guidance, evaluation and feedback in order to foster professional development
  • Work closely with golf clubs and other departments to identify, correct and prevent issues that have implications on their financial goals
  • Help develop, revise and enforce policies that streamline operations
  • Provide training and direction to departments to improve efficiencies and accuracy of information
  • Provide financial information, analysis and recommendations to managers throughout ClubLink to support decision making
  • Auditing continuously to evaluate the adequacy and appropriateness of internal controls in place throughout various departments within the company and make recommendations for potential process enhancements
  • Participate in internal and external audits and prepare relevant supporting documentation
  • Continually audit the member database to identify and troubleshoot inconsistencies with membership and annual dues
  • Verify and authorize outgoing payables to ensure the accuracy of information and approvals
  • Monitor and act as a liaison in the implementation of best practice strategies in order to enhance internal controls and achieve consistency across clubs
  • Facilitate accounting system software upgrades and improvements as they relate to various operations. Prepare, review and make recommendations for annual budgets in conjunction with department managers

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Three to five years accounting experience, preferably with some in a managerial role
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, Solomon, FRX
  • Minimum 3rd year in designated accounting program
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Additional Information:

  • This is a full-time permanent position. 
  • Work from home flexible, required to be in-office 3 days per week.
