As a Recreation Supervisor, you are responsible for assisting the Recreation Manager in overseeing the daily operation of the recreation department. Waterfront and all on-site/off-site recreation activities. Ensuring the safety of our guests and employees is your essential responsibility in this role. This position will be required to work a varied schedule that will include evenings, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with recreation programming in the resort.
• Liaison with members and resort guests on a daily basis providing program details, answering questions, and dealing with issues.
• Assist in recruiting, training, supervising and scheduling of all recreation staff.
• Communicate and address guest concerns or issues to appropriate team members.
• Assist Recreation Manager with maintenance of recreational equipment.

Qualifications:

• Previous supervisory experience.
• Extensive knowledge of public recreation programs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stamina to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to participate in activities.
• A self-starter and team player.
• NLS certification is a definite asset.

This is a seasonal position.
