RattleSnake Point Golf Club is Hiring!

The Banquet/Bistro Supervisor will assist with coordinating the daily operational activities of banquets and the bistro in an efficient manner while maintaining the highest level of service standards. The position will be required to work a varied schedule that includes evenings, nights, and weekends.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Aids and supports the leadership of the Banquet and Bistro Managers.
  • Ensures all restaurant and bar operations are opened and closed according to policy.
  • Comply with all operations manuals, daily worksheets, restaurant procedures, cleaning schedules and all other duties required to successfully execute daily routines in an efficient restaurant.
  • Responsible for bar inventory and spillage.
  • Effectively promote and work in a group environment with other department team leaders.
  • Develop and implement creative strategies to increase revenues and average checks via suggestive selling techniques.
  • Inspire, train, and develop team members.
  • Closely monitor guest's dining experiences and ensure team members are meeting Member and guest needs and expectations.
  • Assist as required with receiving deliveries and thoroughly checking invoices for product quality, quantity, and price.
  • Communicate professionally and directly with the Executive Chef, Food and Beverage Manager and food & beverage team on all foodservice issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2 years of supervisory/leadership experience required.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational skills.
  • Excellent listening skills and creative problem-solving skills.
  • A minimum of two years experience in Food and Beverage.
  • Completion of a Hotel and Food Administrative program is an asset.
  • Experience with a Point of Sale (POS) system, including system-generated reports.
  • Self-motivated, innovative problem solver, with proven leadership and communication skills.
  • Certified in Smart Serve, WHMIS, Health & Safety. 
  • Knowledge of beer, wine & spirits, and proper service techniques.

Full-time Seasonal position from April 1st to December 20th.
