Apprentice Professional - The Lake Joseph Club

The Lake Joseph Clus is Hiring an Apprentice Professional. 

The Apprentice Golf Professional will assist in the daily operations of the golf shop and golf facility while actively working toward PGA Professional certification. This position is ideal for an individual looking to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of golf operations, instruction, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily golf shop operations, including merchandising, inventory, and point-of-sale systems
• Provide excellent customer service to members and guests
• Support tournament operations, leagues, and special events
• Assist with individual and group golf instruction as appropriate
• Help manage tee sheets, pace of play, and course policies
• Enforce club rules and standards in a professional manner
• Assist with club fitting, merchandising displays, and promotions
• Perform opening and closing duties as scheduled

Qualifications

• Strong passion for the game of golf and desire to pursue a career as a golf professional
• Enrolled in or planning to enroll in the PGA or LPGA Professional Program (preferred)
• Solid playing ability and knowledge of the Rules of Golf
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Prior golf course or customer service experience is a plus, but not require
