Purpose of Position:
Trained and capable of performing all Equipment Operator I functions. Gaining further knowledge and training to operate specialized equipment and to perform specific tasks in relation to golf course maintenance. This level may have progressive move up potential.
Performs tasks that are necessary to keep maintenance facility and equipment clean, organized and safe on a daily basis.
Inspects all equipment and tools that are assigned to specific tasks and reports any deficiencies to the Equipment Head Mechanic.
Performs all functions and routine golf course maintenance activities as directed by listed supervisors.
Become thoroughly trained in the proper procedures required to perform each task before performing each task.
Possess good organizational skills.
Must possess logical thinking to solve problems.
Ability to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions.
Ability to visually inspect golf course conditions and report findings.
Have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a motor vehicle.
Ability to perform heavy physical labor. May be required to work in an environment that includes such activities as bending, lifting, stooping, kneeling, climbing, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting. May need to lift up to 100 lbs. occasionally and up to 50 lbs. frequently.

Field(s) of Study - * Mechanical
Special Training Skills Required -* Mechanical and aptitude skills
Experience/Abilities -*1-2 years experience in a similar role
Must be able to stand and walk for up to five (5) hours without sitting
Majority of the time may be outdoors exposed to such elements as heat, rain, wind, cold.
Clubs operate seven days per week. May be required to work weekends, holidays and overtime.
